Our Commitment to Climate Action

Why RamanRasa Exists

I grew up watching my parents work incredibly hard. We didn’t have much, but we always had what mattered — a roof over our heads, food on the table, and parents who loved us deeply. For that, I was always grateful.

Some of my earliest memories are simple ones. Watching friends open new toys. Understanding, even as a child, that our family didn’t live that way. It never felt unfair — it was just life. What stayed with me most weren’t the things we didn’t have, but the rare moments when something unexpected arrived.

When birthdays came around, our uncles would bring gifts for my siblings and me — toys we could never imagine owning. The kind of gifts we thought only rich people had. Those moments stayed with us for months. Not because of the toys themselves, but because of the feeling they created. We felt seen. We felt remembered. We felt joy.

As I grew older, those memories never left me. They quietly shaped how I see gratitude, generosity, and responsibility.

RamanRasa was built with that same spirit in mind.

The farmers we work with pour their lives into the land. Many of their children grow up much like we did — in homes built on hard work, sacrifice, and limited means. I believe that a single moment of joy can stay with a child for a lifetime, just as it did for us.

For every item we sell, we commit $1 toward this cause. And after every $10,000 raised, I personally travel to the farming communities we partner with to donate toys directly to their children.

We document these visits and share them openly — not for praise, but for transparency. So you can see the smiles, the laughter, and the real impact your support creates.

This is not charity for us.

It’s gratitude passed forward.
